What are the actual dates of the program?

Our time on the Camino de Santiago will take place September 21 to October 1, 2024. However, your own journey begins the moment you decide to sign up! Initial preparatory Zoom calls will be scheduled starting late August based on availability of the group of confirmed program participants. The three post-travel integration Zoom calls will continue through February, 2025.

What is the cost and what does it include?

The base cost of the program is $7,495, which includes the full program of guided group and individual coaching, lodging, airport transfers while in Spain, luggage service, chartered bus, two meals per day, and program materials. We will have a limited number of single rooms available for a $1,000 supplemental fee. You are responsible for your own round-trip airfare to Santiago de Compostela and mid-day meals on your own while walking the Camino. See our site for a full list of everything the program includes and terms & conditions.

Are discounts available?

Yes! We offer several discounts:

  • $500 Early Bird discount for participants registering by February 28, 2024.
  • $750 per person group discount for multiple people registering together. This is a great opportunity if you want to experience the adventure along with one or more work colleagues, friends, or family members!
  • Equity pricing is available for people engaged in nonprofit, social impact, and community leadership who have limited resources. These spaces are limited; please inquire with us prior to registration.

Only one discount can be applied per person, and you will be offered the greater of any discounts applicable to your circumstances. Your discount will be applied to your final installment invoice.

How should I prepare physically for the journey?

While the Journey does not require strenuous hiking,  you will be walking 8 – 10 miles per day. We recommend preparing by doing some regular, light cardio activity in the months leading up to the program. We also have a shuttle that drives with us the whole Journey. Participants who need a break from walking have the option to ride on the shuttle at any point in the Journey.

How should I prepare mentally, emotionally, or spiritually for the journey?

You are not required to do anything in preparation for the Journey. If you would like to begin to put yourself in the mind-space of the Camino, you can set aside time for self reflection. While we will have coaching and reflection opportunities on the Camino, it can be helpful to some participants to come in with a sense of the areas they would like to explore on their Journey.

How should I plan my travel?

You should plan to arrive at Santiago de Compostela (SCQ) on September 21, 2024. Please do not book yet — we will provide more information about exact timing. If you typically struggle with jet lag, you are welcome to fly into Spain a few days early to acclimate to the time zone. The Journey officially ends the morning of October 1 with our transfer to the Santiago airport.

Can I participate in Journey in Leadership with a loved one?

Yes, you can travel with a family member, friend, or other loved one — in fact, you get a discount. Previous participants have found that it can be powerful to share the experience with someone you are comfortable with. The way the program is structured allows everyone to have both an individual and communal experience. There are intentional spaces created for you to spend time on your own and then to come together to share the Journey.

Can I bring my work team?

Yes please! Going on the Journey with your colleagues can be incredibly impactful for developing trust, alignment, and a sense of purpose within the team. Our program includes components that support both individual and team development and can be adapted to any context within which a team operates. We also are open to exploring customized corporate programs

Can my organization pay for part or all of the program?

Yes! We have had participants come as personal leadership development support from their company and found it a very powerful experience. In some cases, the company has opted to pay for only the core coaching and training portion of the program and the participant has covered the portion for travel expenses out of their personal funds. We are happy to split the invoicing under such an arrangement. Please contact us if you would like to explore this possibility.
